• Itinerary for 5 Days Tawang Tour Package

  Day 1:

  Places: Pickup, Tezpur to Dirang (210Km/7hrs). Stay: Dirang.
  After picking you up from the required location within Tezpur city, we will start our journey towards Dirang. Dirang is beautiful valley situated at an altitude of 4,700 ft. After reaching Dirang we will head out for local sightseeing of the regional apple Nursery, kiwi farm, Dzong (fort), hot water spring etc. till time permits. We will do the rest of sightseeing on the next morning. Overnight stay at hotel in Dirang valley.

  Day 2:

  Places: Dirang to Tawang (150Km/8hrs). Stay: Tawang.
  After Breakfast, we will check out from hotel and we will take you for the remaining of sightseeing of the valley. It is perched on a vast slope of Himalayan mountainside. After that, we will on the way to Tawang. We will go through one of the highest motor able Pass of northeast India- the Sela Pass (13700 ft.). The approach to Sela is usually marked by fog and hilly imperfect roads. En-route we will also cover Nuranang waterfalls and Jaswant Garh War Memorial. It has been remembered for times of war (1962 Indo Chinese war). Overnight stay at Tawang.

  Day 3:

  Places: Around Tawang Sightseeing (100Km/8hrs). Stay: Tawang.
  After breakfast, start your day with breathtaking view of Shonga-tser Lake (Madhuri Lake), surrounded by snow-capped mountains and the valley offer a spectacular view. Next move on to Bum La Pass, about 37km away from Tawang, which is the indo-china border that lies at 15,200 ft above sea level. On your way back stop by heart lake, PTSO lake, Naghula lake, this will surely make your day (Please note that sightseeing of these places would require you to hire a local taxi and hence it is optional). After this return to your hotel for comfortable overnight stay in Tawang.

  Day 4:

  Places: Tawang to Bomdila(190Km/8hrs). Stay: Bomdila.
  After breakfast, we will take you straight to Bomdila. En-route, we will take you out for sightseeing of the local places in Bomdila. The Buddhist Monasteries, Craft center are some places you would like to visit. We will then drop you the hotel, for the night’s stay.

  Day 5:

  Places: Bomdila to Guwahati, Drop (350Km/8hrs).
  Early in the morning (around 6:30 – 7:00 am), we will depart for Guwahati. After reaching there, we will drop you at the required destination in Guwahati with some sweet memories of the trip with Kaziranga Travels.
