• Itinerary for Nature Tribe and Culture

  Day 1:

  Places: Airport Pickup, Guwahati to Kaziranga (240Km/5hrs). Stay: Kaziranga.
  
  We will receive you at Guwahati Airport and will take you straight to Kaziranga, the world heritage site situated in the heart of Assam. It would be around 240 kilometers drive from Guwahati and it is estimated to take around 5 hours. With thousands and thousands of tourists visiting the place every year, Kaziranga National Park is itself an exquisite beauty to watch. Of course no need to mention about the large, gentle and beautiful creature for which Kaziranga is famous all over the world, the one horned rhinoceros. This place is also famous for a number of species of flora and fauna. Your stay will be at a hotel in Kaziranga.

  Day 2:

  Places: Kaziranga Sightseeing, Kaziranga Safaris (70Kms/8hrs). Stay: Kaziranga.
  
  Early morning we will take you for exciting elephant safari. Feel the gratifying pleasure in the early morning elephant safari across National Park. Meet the pride of India, the great Asian one-horned Rhinos with wild Buffalo, Tiger, Elephant, variety of Deer, Python and variety of migratory birds, water birds, predators, scavengers and game birds etc. The ride will make you feel like sailing mysteriously on a green sea as the grass is as high as elephant.we will show you the local places around Kaziranga like the national orchid park, the ethnic village, model Assamese village, tea gardens, etc. This would be followed by a Jeep Safari at the national park, after lunch. Also do not forget to enjoy the delicious cuisines of Assam. After a complete day of enjoyment, you will be taken to your hotel for the nights stay.

  Day 3:

  Places: Kaziranga to Kohima (250Km/8hrs). Stay: Kohima.
  
  After breakfast, we will head towards Kohima. Although, Kohima is the land for Angami Nagas, but being a capital city it comprises of all the tribes of Nagaland. After reaching Kohima, we will check in to the hotel. Then, if time permits, we will visit Kohima village or Bara Basti. The village is known for its natural beauty, traditions, culture and handicrafts. The village will welcome you with a large unique & impressive traditional gate elaborately carved with weapons, warriors and the skull of Mithun, a symbol of prosperity. After exploring this beautiful village, we will come back to hotel & overnight stay in Kohima.

  Day 4:

  Places: Kohima sightseeing (80Km/7hrs). Stay: Kohima.
  
  After breakfast, we will go out for sightseeing in the city. Kohima is known for the battle of Kohima in the British era. It has two war cemeteries: Kohima war cemetery and Commonwealth World War II cemetery. We will show you both the cemeteries. Then we will go for other sightseeing places like Khonoma village, Kohima Cathedral, Kohima Museum etc. If you arrive during famous Hornbill festival, we will attend the festival in Kisama village. Hornbill festival marks the celebration of Naga cultures. Held every year from 1st of December to 10th of December, it highlights the beautiful ethnicity of the tribes of Nagaland, showcasing colorfully dressed tribes, their dances and songs, traditional food stalls, sport activities and the beautifully built traditional huts. After a full day of sightseeing, overnight stay will be in at the same place in Kohima.

  Day 5:

  Places: Kohima to Imphal (150Km/7hrs). Stay: Imphal.
  
  Early morning, we will start towards, Imphal, the capital of Manipur. En-route we will visit Kisama, the Naga heritage village. The famous “Hornbill Festival” is held in Kisama, every year in the first week of December. This festival showcases a mixture of cultural displays from the different tribes of Nagaland. After reaching Imphal, check-in to hotel. Overnight stay in Imphal.

  Day 6:

  Places: Local Imphal sightseeing (60km/6hrs). Stay: Imphal.
  
  After breakfast, we will take you out for local sightseeing in the city of Imphal. We will visit places like Kangla Palace, Lord Krishna Temple, Shri Govindajee Temple & local markets. Overnight stay in Imphal.

  Day 7:

  Places: Around Imphal sightseeing (150Km/8hrs). Stay: Imphal.
  
  After breakfast, we will go for sightseeing around of the capital city of Manipur. Imphal is a scenic valley surrounded by hills on all sides. First, we will visit Loktak Lake – the largest freshwater lake in North-East India. Then, we will go to Keibul Lamjao National Park , an integral part of Loktak Lake & is the only floating park in the world. We will return to our hotel for the overnight stay.

  Day 8:

  Places: Dimapur to Guwahati (300kms/8hs). Stay: Guwahati.
  
  After breakfast, we will head to Guwahati. After reaching Guwahati, we will check-in to our hotel. If time permits, we will show you a place or two in Guwahati. You can also go for an optional dinner cruise of sunset cruise on the mighty Brahmaputra river. The stay for the night will be in Guwahati for the night.

  Day 9:

  Places: Dimapur to Guwahati (300kms/8hs). Stay: Guwahati.
  
  After breakfast, we will head to Guwahati. After reaching Guwahati, we will check-in to our hotel. If time permits, we will show you a place or two in Guwahati. You can also go for an optional dinner cruise of sunset cruise on the mighty Brahmaputra river. The stay for the night will be in Guwahati for the night.

  Day 10:

  Places: Guwahati sightseeing, Airport Drop.
  
  After finishing the sightseeing in Guwahati, within the available time, we will drop you at the airport with the beautiful memories of Northeast.
